Philip Baczewski has been writing concert music since the age of 12. He holds degrees in music composition from the University of North Texas (DMA, 1989), where he studied with Merrill Ellis, WIlliam P. Latham, and Larry Austin. He worked for many years in the field of academic information technology before retiring in 2020 to devote more time to writing music.
